The image here is breathtakingly wonderful. It is the visual depiction of coming to a point in life where you're unsure of what will occur next. Well, rather it is my understanding of it as such. Truthfully, it is how such a grand number of people I know feel throughout most of their lives, including me. The angle sits where even the road ahead drifts lost-like into haziness. The road lights turn into just glowing orbs. The almost dusk/before dawn sky does a great deal of justice towards this image. Then, the balanced setting of the road being lighted on one side, yet dark on the other truly shows the differential aspect towards something so naturally spooky. What is amazing is that the lights add more towards he fog than the darkness provides. Almost in a sense of getting lost within hope. Whereas the darkness suggests that the darkness itself is your ending among it's morbid setting. Bravo!
the simplest philosophy is right here in your photo: it's one street. you could choose to walk or drive or not move at all; on the lighted side or the dark side, in one direction or the other - and you don't know what else is on that street until you see it
This is a really enigmatic and mysterious kind of photo that does make me think: "what's going to happen now?"
