Dark forest

This is technically my first critique, so I apoligize if I am in any way unfair.

Vision - You did a simply fantastic job of capturing this scene, so I give you a 5.

Originality - I give this a 2 for originality because I think the overall idea of an eerie, dark forest scene is by now pretty common. However, the colored leaves and the shaft of light are pretty original, and were good touches.

Technique - I give you a 5 for technique, it looks amazing. The red leaves in particular really add color, and they accentuate the work very well.

Impact - I gave you a 4 for impact, but only when in comparison to other works. Obviously there will be more moving or more impacting works than this, but that aside, you did an amazing job creating the atmosphere.

Overall - This is a stunning work, it looks superb and does a brilliant job of creating the atmoshpere. The overall concept is a tad unoriginal, but this is an inimportant detail, and it doesn't in any way hinder our enjoyment of the work.
