Rule of thirds was used quite nicely.. warm and cool colors, combined with the line movement of the path vs the foreground trees, creates a nice tension and eye movement throughout

I think you push the colors in these pictures a little to hard.  Like on the tree on the left there is too much contrast I think.

Yeah, very true! I just personaly dont like the kind of "web-color" look if you know what I mean. Anyways, its awesome the see the improvement you made right from your first woodpics, photos like 'Midnight mist' are pure joy to look at :D

Thank you really:) But i must also say that most of my older photos look too saturated to me too. Maybe after a year, todays photos will appear too saturated to me, i don't know:) On the other hand saturated photos get better chance to seen by others, in average.
