There are very few technical issues I have with this photo. My first complaint is the green hues are very muted, which washes out the entire photo. This is an artistic choice, I feel, but lacks the vibrancy I enjoy in forest landscape photographs. In the middle, in particular, is lacking definition with contrast and depth. However, these can be overlooked because it does give a very nice effect to the overall photograph.
My other issue is the framing. The path is cut off which doesn't give enough room leading into the path or it should be cut out all together.
Now the good -- which is more of the photograph than not.
I adore the overall soft morning feel, like you're walking into the waking dawn and the whole forest is waking up around the viewer. This photograph takes a still subject and injects feeling. It brings to light everything wonderful about a great landscape photograph.
The technique used to manipulate this photo in the camera and obviously in post-processing leaves me in somewhat of an awe. Everything which needs to be done is there, and done very well. The muted tones, which I mentioned negatively earlier, really do work to bring the whole photograph together. I disagree with it technically, but artistically I think it's brilliant.
Wonderful work with an excellent gallery. This one should definitely be considered for additional recognition.

A really natural picture! This looks light and everything fits together. It looks fabulous when the scenery goes more smoother what farther you look. This reminds me of a picture from some kind of story.
