Very nice picture, the stones are like characters in the frame, calm and beautiful.

Btw have you tried focus stacking ?, cause I think such a picture could really benefit from it. :)

Thank you very much Tommy:)
I haven't but i guess i'll have to do that sometimes. Focusing to foreground here, trees in the distance are not sharp.

My pleasure.

Yeah exactly why I asked, though sometimes that is not a desired effect to get absolutely everything in focus, I just though with the stones it would fit very well. :)

True, on the other hand with my lousy tripod i have now, cameras position would change for sure when i touch the camera for refocusing, but i'm gonna change my tripod soon anyway:)

When I used my old tripod ( benro cheapo ) I only extended it once instead of fully, and stabilized it with a little weight, worked like a charm.
But it does not matter if you are a bit out of frame cause you will combine it in photoshop and align it there, its only if its a huge difference between the frame. :)

melancholy is not the absence of something but extreme concentration of beauty in raw formation. So melancholy is worthy of our rejoicing and appreciation.
